LACWGA was established and by-laws adopted July 31, 1967. Club Membership is $10 per year with $10 per year dues for individual members. A player who is not a member of a LACWGA club may join for an annual fee of $15.
USGA rules shall govern all play except as modified by local rules as shown on the score card; or local rules modified by LACWGA.
LACWGA local rule used at all LACWGA events: Relief from interference by an immovable obstruction may be taken under Rule24-2. If a ball lies off the putting green but not in a hazard and an immovable obstruction (sprinkler) on or within two club lengths of the putting green and with in two club lengths of the ball interferes with your line of play, you may take relief within one club length no nearer to the hole.
Galleries and caddies are not permitted at any LACWGA event.
To be eligible to play in the LACWGA Championship Tournament, membership dues must be received by the Treasurer three months prior to the tournament date. On a space available basis, members not qualifying may play but may not win prizes.
In LACWGA events, x-ed out balls are illegal.
Anyone who “picks up” is not eligible for a win, other than in Best Ball events. If the “game of the day” involves a nine hole score, the whole eighteen must be completed to be eligible to win.
